Back in March I blogged a few useful shortcuts that you can get by pressing Windows key + R and then entering a command (e.g. calc for the Windows calculator). Here's that list again, with a few new additions:
Press Windows key + R then enter:
- acrobat - Acrobat (if installed)
- appwiz.pl - Add/Remove Programs
- calc - calculator
- charmap - character map
- control - Control Panel
- control printers - Printers & Faxes dialog box
- control schedtasks - Scheduled Tasks
- excel - Excel (if installed)
- explorer - Windows Explorer
- illustrator - Illustrator (if installed)
- nero - Nero (if installed)
- notepad - Notepad
- photoshop - Photoshop (if installed)
- regedit - Registry Editor
- winver - shows the version of Windows
- winword - Word (if installed)
- wmplayer - Windows Media Player
- write - WordPad
- wupdmgr - Windows Update Web site
